Ariana Grande has confirmed that her seventh album will arrive in 2024.
After teasing her fans with snippets from the studio for months on Instagram, Grande shared several photos and videos with the caption, “See you next year,” tagging producers Ilya Salmanzadeh, Max Martin and many others.
The singer also included a video taken by a collaborator, who notes from behind the camera that it’s “almost the last day of this album.”
“I’m so tired,” she responds in the clip, wrapped in a blanket while lying on a couch. “But so happy and grateful. I also feel like I weigh 3,000 tons.”
The “Seven Rings” singer had taken a hiatus from music for a few years to focus on her role in the upcoming Wicked live adaptation and her R.E.M. Beauty business.
Grande’s most recent album was Positions, which dropped in October 2020. Grande worked with numerous producers on Positions, including frequent collaborator Tommy Brown, accompanied by longtime co-writers Victoria Monet and Tayla Parx.
The record debuted atop the Billboard 200 and spawned a Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single with its title track.
