Robert Pattinson is back in the Batsuit for The Batman Part II, but the physical side of the role is hitting differently this time.
During a recent interview, Pattinson said filming the sequel’s fight scenes has become more demanding as he gets older. The actor turned 40 shortly before production began in London in June and admitted that the action work now feels significantly harder than it once did.
Despite the challenge, Pattinson said he is enjoying the production and described the shoot as a marathon. He also praised the cast and sounded positive about how the film is coming together.
The Matt Reeves-directed sequel brings Pattinson back as Bruce Wayne, with returning cast members including Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis and Colin Farrell. Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Charles Dance, Brian Tyree Henry and Sebastian Koch have also joined the film.
Production is expected to continue in London through the end of 2026. The Batman Part II is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on February 18, 2028.
