Kacey Musgraves has released a Spanish-language version of Uncertain, TX, teaming with Texas norteño and Tejano group Intocable for the new recording. The release marks Musgraves’ first song performed entirely in Spanish and gives the track a fresh musical identity rooted in the sounds of Texas and northern Mexico.
For the new version, Musgraves shares vocals with Intocable frontman Ricky Muñoz. Their collaboration brings together country, norteño, Tejano, and cumbia influences, reflecting musical traditions that have long crossed cultural and geographic lines in Texas.
Uncertain, TX originally appeared on Musgraves’ album Middle of Nowhere and featured Willie Nelson. The Spanish version keeps the song’s Texas setting while reshaping its sound through Intocable’s established style.
Musgraves has often drawn from different musical influences throughout her career, while Intocable has spent decades blending norteño instrumentation with pop and regional Mexican elements. The collaboration adds another cross-genre moment to both artists’ catalogs and introduces the song in a new language.
